Mothering Sunday 30 March: There will be a Café Church

at Alderton at 10.30 am for all churches in the benefice.

Easter morning 20 April: Dawn gathering at 6 am

with service of communion at 11.15 am

** Please be aware that our heating system is almost empty of oil and **

** our damaged tank cannot be re-filled **

** As a result, the building may be cold **

** Do wrap up warmly **

The schedule of services (all at 10.30 am) on a fifth Sunday in a month varies. 

​

We also hold special services. Many of these are services for the family, especially involving children; for example, Café Church, All Age Services with a charity theme, Mothers' Day, Fathers’ Day and Christingle.

EVENTS

LENT LUNCH THURSDAY APRIL 10TH at 12 noon in CHURCH. Please come and join us

for this annual event where a choice of warming HOT SOUP will be on offer for you to enjoy.

This will then be followed by a selection of DELICIOUS CAKES with plenty of tea and coffee to

go with them. This is always a lovely social occasion which is open to everyone. To help with

catering it will be appreciated if you pre-book your place.

Please come and join us to hear The Kenelm Singers present "All in the April Evening" a musical meditation for Palm Sunday and Holy Week, in our church on Palm Sunday 13 April at 6.30 pm. This is a charity concert - donations on the door for our Heating Project.​

THE ANNUAL PARISH CHURCH MEETINGS will take place following the 10.30 am service on

SUNDAY 4th MAY. You are invited to attend and discover what your Parochial Church

Council have worked on, and towards, during the past twelve months. This meeting provides a

good opportunity for parishioners to put forward their ideas for either helping or offering their

practical support for St Peter’s. We extend a warm welcome to everyone.
